Radioactive pollution, electromagnetic interference, earthquakes — all of these make our environment increasingly hostile. They pose a serious threat to us and nature alike. Comparing various types of energy production we can see that when it comes to the environment, energy sourced from renewable sources is the best. Renewable energies have a significantly lower environmental impact than other kinds of energy. With regard to pollution, the minimum is at small hydropower plants while the maximum is with solar power plants.
